I love the people who do this ride and love the excuse to actually go out and ride a long distance. Normally I'm in the office, strategizing with stakeholders and allies and donors and opponents and managing our growing staff of incredibly talented advocates. But for this week, I get to be reminded of why we do this work -- the joy and health we experience is palpable. It fires me up to keep up the fight!
