The California Dream Ride is California Bicycle Coalition's annual fundraising ride. 2018 marks our 5th annual ride, following four years where many participants declared it the best ride they'd ever participated in! Registration is now open!

For CalBike’s 5th annual California Dream Ride, we’ll return to Southern California. You’ll pedal 290 miles, from Santa Barbara to San Diego, over five days, while enjoying the scenic canyons, skyline ridge roads and quiet beach bike paths of this route, which is a favorite of our riders. We will be updating this section of the website with more information soon.
The California Dream Ride provides support for riders of all levels: whether you ride the hills every weekend or you’re new to cycling. The ride raises money to support the California Bicycle Coalition, your advocates for bicycling at the state level.
Lodging, full rest stops, meals, SAG ("support and gear") and mechanic support, jersey, and entertainment are all included in the tour price of $2500. You can fundraise to support your ride -- which we’ll make easy with a personal fundraising page -- or pay the full $2500 yourself. The California Dream Ride is your opportunity to make a difference -- to make California safer and help everyone live a healthier, happier, more prosperous life -- while also having a lot of fun!
